How Does It Work?
The
Global Sensors PDF-Logger is preconfigured in different day models and
with different available alarm settings and the option of start delay.
Just order the specific type for your application-no
need to use software to set up the logger for recording. The
current standard models are 15 Day, 30 Day and 60 Day. The current
standard alarms are set at "below 2°C" and "above 8°C".
When
you are ready to use
the PDF-Logger, just pull the start tab.
It is easy to break off. When the tab is removed, the logger
begins recording immediately (unless a log delay has been
custom-specified). All LEDs flash in turn for five times When
PDF-Logger is started, then the OK light blinks every 10 seconds to
confirm proper operation and continued logging.
At destination, or the end of the recording episode, you can observe the LED lights to determine if there has been an "over or under" alarm condition. The sequence and pattern of the alarm lights provides full information regarding the alarm conditions. Download our User Manual to see details.
When the PDF-Logger is snapped to stop recording, the USB plug is revealed. Just stick it into any empty USB port in your computer.
At stopping, the PDF file is immediately created inside the logger, and is ready for copying, moving or opening from the USB flash drive function of the logger.
If you can read a flash drive in your computer, you can read the PDF-Logger with no software installation or other action. Just plug it in and get the time-temperature record from the device.
You can retain the logger as a permanent record of the temperature conditions. The PDF file can be read, archived, emailed or used in any way that a file is used in a computer.

The PDF file conforms to all aspects of security that are required in regulated usage. The file cannot by tampered and is encrypted.
A significant aspect of data security is the already downloaded PDF-logger itself. Since you cannot add files to the drive or remove files, it remains as a secure backup to the data that was collected.
The logger performance is second to none. It produces an accuracy in the thermal interest zones for cold chain shipping of ±0.3°C...good for any application in the storage or shipment of valuable perishable items.
