DataWatch Elite DWE Basic Single Internal Sensor
The DWE is the basic format of the DataWatch elite product line.  It retains all of the internal quality components, reliability, and accuracy, but does not have an LCD display or LED alarm lights. 

If you want the legendary quality of DataWatch Elite with its accurate and dependable internal sensor, but do not require the display features, this is a cost effective solution.

DataWatch Elite M2000 Single
Internal Sensor Logger
The M2000 form factor is rectangular rather than disk shaped like the Standard Models.  It also starts with a convenient push button.

The LCD display reports Max, Min, alarm status high and low with alarm condition durations, average temperature and current temperature.  In start delay mode, there is a countdown until start.  M2000 uses

Requires a serial port connection.
Product Sheet 		On the reverse side of M2000 loggers is a direct download serial port.  If your PC has a serial port, just use a serial cable to connect.  M2000 loggers do not require an interface cable for connection.

M2000 series have an easily accessible battery port.  Using a coin, twist to open...insert lithium cell.

Units starts with long button press (1 full second).  Any subsequent press before logging episode is complete allows user to review the display options and alarm values.

DataWatch Elite M2000 Single External Sensor Logger


 The M2000 external probe model is identical in specifications to the regular M2000 model (above) but the sensor is contained in a stainless steel probe on a cable extension from the body of the unit.  The temperature range is in the food and pharmaceutical "interest zone".

DataWatch Standard Single Internal Sensor Logger



DataWatch Elite is exemplified by the basic model.  This is a general purpose model that serves as a monitor for warehousing and transport of food and beverages, as well as other temperature sensitive commodities.

Averages, High and Low Alarm settings are displayed on the LCD display, along with details of time over and under temperature relative to pre-set limits (determined when the logger is programmed by the DataWatch Elite software.  The LED indicators signal an alarm condition with a blinking red light or a "unit is logging" condition with a blinking green light.

This is actually a dual sensor temperature logger.  The external probe allows remote detection of temperatures in our D range, which encompasses the typical food storage and transport temperatures.  It is also a good range for most general monitoring applications. Temperatures at the logger body location are also monitored in the same range.

DataWatch Elite Logger Essentials

All DataWatch Elite loggers require an interface to upload results to DataWatch Elite software.  The interface is the familiar USB interface.  Compatible with all Windows Operating systems from XP and more recent, the interface system is a plug and play device.  Minimum operating requirements are (1) A DataWatch Elite logger, (2) an installed interface, and (3) DataWatch software installed and resident on the PC.

So, be sure to order an Interface and Software starter kit:

Interface and Software Disk Kit (A +B)
Includes one DataWatch Elite interface (see at left), with built-in USB cable and a magnetic starter key pod (at right).  Software is free to download at any time, but a software disk is included in this package.
